He was born in Zonguldak in 1969. He studied at Zonguldak Mehmet Çelikel High School.
He entered Istanbul University with the 1987 ÖYS exam.
He graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) in 1992.
He did his compulsory service in Malatya between 1993-1994.
He began his specialization by passing the 1994 TUS exam and entering the Urology Department of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization in 1998 and became a Urology Specialist.
In 1998, he started working as a Urology Specialist at the German Hospital.
He worked in the In Vitro Fertilization, Male Infertility and Andrology department at the German Hospital, where he worked for 16 years.
After the closure of the German hospital, he was appointed Assistant Professor to the Department of Urology at Yeni Yüzyıl University by the Council of Higher Education in 2014.
He worked for two years in the Male Infertility and Andrology Department of Bahçeci IVF Center between 2014 and 2016.
In 2017, he started working as a private practice physician and started working with Op.Dr.Erbil Yağmur in the field of male and female infertility and andrology.
After continuing to provide services within the Momart clinic, she still works at the Momart IVF Center with the establishment of the Momart IVF Center in 2023.
In his 25 years of experience in Male Infertility, he has given particular importance to the issue of Azoospermia and has performed nearly 7500 microscopic microsurgical TES and more than 4000 microscopic varicocelectomies.
He is married to Banu Kaplancan and has one child.
