In this article, we have compiled the most common &quot;misconceptions&quot; for you.<\/p><p data-start=\"317\" data-end=\"520\">Myth #1: IVF treatment is always successful.<br data-start=\"377\" data-end=\"380\" \/><strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"390\">TRUE:<\/strong> The success rate depends on the woman&#039;s age, egg reserve, embryo quality, and uterine health. Failure on the first attempt is possible.<\/p><p data-start=\"522\" data-end=\"731\">Myth #2: IVF treatment increases the risk of anomalies in babies.<br data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"589\" \/><strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"599\">TRUE:<\/strong> Studies show that babies born through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) have similar health status to babies born naturally.<\/p><p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"891\">Myth 3: The medications we use cause cancer.<br data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"784\" \/><strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"794\">TRUE:<\/strong> There is no scientific evidence that hormone medications used in in-vitro fertilization cause cancer.<\/p><p data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"1088\">Myth 4: Rest in bed is absolutely necessary after the transfer.<br data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"956\" \/><strong data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"966\">TRUE:<\/strong> Simply avoiding strenuous activities is sufficient. Often, the problem can be found in either partner.<\/p><p data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"2001\">Myth #10: Women who conceive through IVF cannot give birth naturally.<br data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1906\" \/><strong data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"1916\">TRUE:<\/strong> In vitro fertilization only ensures pregnancy. The method of delivery is determined according to the stage of the pregnancy.<\/p><p data-start=\"2003\" data-end=\"2184\">Myth 11: A healthy pregnancy cannot result from a low-quality embryo.<br data-start=\"2065\" data-end=\"2068\" \/><strong data-start=\"2068\" data-end=\"2078\">TRUE:<\/strong> Every embryo transferred has a chance of pregnancy.
